Senior Geo-environmental Engineer - Warrington
Working towards chartered status, the ideal candidate will be a geotechnical or environmental engineer experienced in the design and supervision of brownfield reclamation and the assessment of abnormal development issues for residential and commercial development. A first degree in an associated geoscience is required together with a good track record in geo-environmental investigation, assessment, remediation and brownfield redevelopment. The successful applicant will need to have a sound working knowledge of quantitative risk assessment procedures and current UK legislation and guidance regarding brownfield redevelopment, largely in the housing sector. An essential quality is the confidence to work alongside and communicate effectively with clients and engineers from other disciplines to deliver cost-effective remediation solutions.
