New South East Regional Director Appointed

Opus International Consultants (UK) Ltd, the national Consulting Engineers, has appointed Mike Grant as Regional Director, South East.  This appointment follows the acquisition of The Joynes Pike Group earlier this year, Opus now have 17 UK offices. The UK business has been restructured into four regions; the South East, the North, the Midlands and the South West.  A new management structure has been put into place.  The South East region comprises Fareham, London, Milton Keynes and the Stevenage offices and has 70 employees.  Commenting on his appointment, Mike says “I am delighted to be made the South East Regional Director.  The South East & London continue to be one of the fastest growing regions in the UK particularly with the Olympics in 2012 approaching.  Within Opus, the South East region has a very diverse work and client base; therefore the role will be a challenge.”  Mike has been with the company for over twenty years.  He was a founding member of Evans Grant prior to Opus’ acquisition in 2004.    In Mike’s spare time, he enjoys classic cars and spending time with his family.
